Sunday night at Kubber's

All I gotta say is yum. I know it looks like baby food, but that butternut squash soup is to die for. Aunt Kendra and Uncle Tim were nice enough to send some home with mom and dad.

I turned 3 weeks old today.

So that was last night. Today I went got weighed again. I gained 11oz this last week and I'm tipping the scales at 7lb, 14oz. It's hard work to eat that much. I stayed up for endless hours, night and day, through cold and hot, dirty diapers and clean. Nothing would stop me. Eating was my mission and I have succeeded!

Now let's do it again!

Bath time

Argh daddy. You make me so mad! Just kidding. I like my baths. Reminds me of of long ago when I was swimming ALL the time. That wash cloth keeps me nice and warm while mommy and daddy tag team me with soap. Then I brush out my hair with 100 strokes. That'd be about 1 for each hair.

Yeah, and so that last picture? I'm thinking the original might come back to haunt me some day.

My first bottle

Busy day to day. In addition to eating, sleeping, pooping [you know, the basics] I had to get some play time in. Uncle Scott and Aunt Patty got me this cool mat that I can lay on and play with toys. There's a cool fish that plays music and a mirror too. The mirror shines lights around the room and you all know how my sister Diggity likes lights. It might come to blows if she keeps trying to play with my toys.

Wow! Way cool. Daddy fed me! He used to say he couldn't but he must of had one of those procedures that make boys in to girls 'cause he had all the milk I wanted. It it came fast too. I'm going to have to work on my bottle technique. I definitely can have too much of a good thing.

I don't do a lot of play on my own yet. Daddy helps me work out my legs so I can crawl real fast.

Googly Eye Guy

This is googly eye guy. Scotty and Chelsea Spade got him for me. He's crinkly and kind of nosy. He never stops staring. Diggity likes googly eye guy too. They've even hung out in the back yard together. I haven't even done that yet.

Parts is parts

Brown hair. Hmmm... Mommy's blonde and daddy was a blonde baby, then brown at about age 7 and grey at 17. How'd I end up with brown hair?

Yellow's my new favorite color

Yellow's my new favorite color. It makes me so happy I'm gonna do a little dance.

My first bath

I've been cleaned up before but I couldn't take a real bath until I went cordless. Now that I have a sealed up bellly button I can get wet. Mommy's good at this. I had fun and she got me clean all over. Thanks mom. You're the best.
