MMMmmmmm spiders

I am just over two spiders tall. I had to give the spider a taste...mmmmmm. My face looked horrible after a tumble in the pumpkin patch. Who knew that the vines would jump up and trip me. It sure made me look like a tough girl with a big red scratch that went from the top of my head to my chin. The scratch faded away in a couple of hours.

Lil' Pumpkins

I met some of my friends at the pumpkin patch for playgroup. We had fun crawling around in the pumpkin field looking for the perfect pumpkins.

Sorry!

If there is anyone out there that still checks this blog, we are so sorry for not updating lately. As you will see we have had a very busy summer. For some reason our blog died about the time Lyla started crawling. Now that we are use to her getting into everything constantly, we will start updating. Keep checking all the way back to the end of June and we will get everything filled in, between baby break ins and diaper explosions.

when the going gets tough

When the going gets tough, we go outside. Playing outside makes everything all better. I love to play in the grass and pick dandelions.

Shopping

Shop... Shop...Shop... all day long, shop.. shop...shop.. while I sing this song. Whew... trying to keep up with Aunt Dode shopping is hard work. On the way home I enjoyed a snack of cheesy poofs and a bottle, I was soo tired. I do love shopping there is so many things to look at, and so many people to yell "Hi" to.

11 months

Tick... Tock.... one month closer to being a big girl. I am getting really tall and weigh 20 pounds and 14 ounces. I am getting really fast at crawling, and am pretty good at cruising (that means walking along the sofa etc while holding on). I have gotten really quick at climbing up stairs, and am learning how to go back down backwards. I like to stand on my tip toes and look out of the windows. When I hear kids playing outside, I really want to go and join them. I can't wait until I can run and play with the big kids.
My favorite foods are strawberries, watermelon, baby cheesy poofs, mac and cheese and popsicles. Some of my favorite things are playing outside, my stuffed animals, splashing in the water bowl, climbing on Diggity Dog and sticking my fingers in her mouth. I love to give hugs and kisses, and will withhold them just to tease someone. Words I say that other people can understand Mama, Dada, Dig Dog, More, and Hi. I can point, clap my hands, and wave.

I'm not for sale, but thanks for asking.

Ring...Ring... Ring... I rang my bell and smiled so sweet at everyone comming to our garage sale. After our garage sale, Daddy and I were so tired we took a nap together. I love cuddling with my Daddy.

Yay, Daddy is home!

I missed my Daddy so much. When he got back from Atlanta after seeing all of the new paintball products, I gave him so many hugs.

Here comes trouble

Who would have thought there were so many uses for diapers. You can wear them, toss 'em in the air, crinkle them, and scatter them. I had a busy day playing with diapers, and getting into Diggy's bowls. I took a really big nap.

rofl

I am so good at telling jokes. Today when Brendan came over to play I told him lots of jokes. I'm not sure if he got all of my jokes, but he did laugh at a few.

Surprise!

I was playing with my favorite music table, and I found a treat when I opened the green door. I opened the door and closed it and enjoyed my snack. I am so proud of myself, and I even shared some treats with Digg Dog.

Tantrum trials

So I keep trying this new thing out, and they call it a tantrum. I thought parents were suppose to give you want when you have a tantrum. My Mommy just laughs and grabs the camera. I will keep trying and maybe I can train her.
