Familly Pictures
We went and got our family pictures taken on December 10th. I figured it was a good time to take a nap. All the bright flashy lights were in my eyes, so I waited to open them until after all the pictures were done. Mommy and Daddy bought the rights to the pictures, so if you want any please let them know.
2 months old
I am two months old now! I weigh 10lbs 8 oz, and I'm 22 inches long. I have started cooing and smiling. I can see a lot better now, and watch people walking across the room. I finally decided that my swing and bouncy seat are kind of fun. Mommy and Daddy's arms were getting tired after holding me for 2 months. I have been sleeping a lot longer at night. I usually sleep 4-5 hours at night, and I'm up for about an hour to eat, diaper change, smile at Mommy, and eat again. I go back to sleep for about 2 more hours, and then I'm up most of the day. Most babies my age sleep about 15 hours a day. I'm a trend setter, and don't sleep that much.

Christmas at Admire
Christmas in Emporia
Next we drove to Emporia to open presents with Nana, Papa, aunts, uncles, and cousins. That was another long trip. We could see Emporia up ahead when, Daddy got a phone call saying that they left my diaper bag in Admire. We had to turn around and go get my diaper bag. Jeez, I'm just glad Mommy and Daddy remembered me. In these pictures are my cousins Chantel, TJ, and Jerika.

Christmas Eve
We had a good time at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We opened some gifts, and then everyone enjoyed Christmas dinner. I had to pass on the dinner, maybe next year I will have some teeth, so I can have some too. I sat in my seat and looked at all the pretty lights on their tree. Auntie Kubber made me a really soft taggie blanket. I like to grab onto the blanket, and I also like it right next to my face. I got some really cute outfits and jammies too. Uncle Tim actually held me! He can't wait until I am bigger, so he can teach me things.
We all went to the candle light church service afterward. Grandma held me, and she must have had the touch, because I slept through the whole thing.

I'm the cute one!
Today I wore a special shirt that says "If you think I'm cute you should see my aunt!" Aunt Kubber took me shopping, and to Uncle Tim's bank to meet all the ladies. I showed her what a handful I could really be. I threw a major fit in the fabric store, and Aunt Kubber had to go over to Grandma's house to regroup. It was a big day, but I wasn't tired, I stayed up until 2:30 in the morning. I just wanted to stay up and tell Mommy and Daddy all about my day. Mommy and Daddy say all they want for Christmas is a silent night. I've heard that song before. Maybe I'll stay up tonight and sing it to Mommy and Daddy.

Who would poke a baby?
I got all bundled up to go out for a big day. I have my two month check up and a big day shopping with Aunt Kubber and Grandma. Apparently I didn't get the memo about wearing a cream colored coat.
At the doctor's office, Dr McKeon asked mommy if I started cooing and looking at her yet. I decided to prove that I'm an over achiever and looked at Dr McKeon then coo and smile. I shouldn't have been so generous with my smiles, because she sent in a mean old nurse to poke me. First she gave me some yucky tasting stuff to eat. I tried to spit it out. When she poked me the first time, I thought my eyes were going to pop out of my head. What a shock! I started to scream and she gave me two more pokes in my other leg. She put on 3 bright yellow band-aids, to help me look pitiful. Later I had to take some Tylenol to help my legs feel better.
After a long day shopping, Mommy gave me a warm bath to help me relax. I didn't realize she was really giving me the bath, to soften up the band-aids. Then she ripped all three band-aids off. I had a rough day!
